One of the ways that Relentless focuses on having fun and enjoying each others company is through our many events.

Member-Run Events

If a member wishes to run an officially-sanctioned event complete with a signup and prizes, they must speak with the events officer and get approval. If a member wishes to run an event and just needs a signup on the raid signup sheet, they can speak with any officer. Unofficial events can and do occur at any time via guild chat and/or the events forum for instance runs and more.

Monthly Events

In order to encourage participation and thank people for their participation, Relentless gives out monthly prizes to guild members. The winners are selected just before the guild meeting and announced at the meeting.

• Raid & Event Leader – all people who run an approved event from the time of the last guild meeting to the current one get put into a pool by number order (i.e., Vaelorna ran the first event, Jeynora ran the second, Vaelorna ran the third event, and Amante ran the fourth event). A random number generator picks a number (i.e. three) and the person who ran the third event (Vaelorna) wins a prize from tier 3.
• Forum Posts – all people who have signed up on the forum have a forum user ID number. A random number generator picks a number and if the person who has the corresponding user ID number has posted at least 5 times from the time of the last guild meeting to the current one, they win a prize from tier 3.
• Raid & Event Signup – a random number generator picks a date from the time of the last guild meeting to the time of the current one. If there was a raid on that day, another random number is generated to pick a person from their signup (by time stamp). That person wins a prize from tier 3. (Cancelled signups are included in this.)
• Most Involved and Helpful Guild Members – The class leaders receive nominations from people whose main are under their purview. These nominations are forwarded to the officers with a brief summary of why the person has been nominated. The officers vote on which person will receive the title of VIP. This person receives a prize from tier 2 and a custom guild rank until a new person is chosen at the next guild meeting. Nominations must be received one week before the guild meeting.
