Invites start ten minutes prior to the start time. People who are signed up would get first dibs, and anyone who shows up between the invitation time and the start time are allowed to fill in extra slots. If all ten slots are not filled by 6:10 pm, the raid will be cancelled.
Attendance
Cancellations - If you must cancel for a raid, you have to inform us through the raid sign-ups by noon the day of the raid. If you do not inform us by noon (and it isn't an emergency), you will receive a verbal warning. If you do it a second time, you will not be allowed to pre-signup for a raid with us. Don't sign up for something you are not sure you are going to be able to attend. I will begin keeping track of these starting October 16th, 2007.
No-shows - If you don't show up for a raid, and you don't give us any notification, you will be considered a no-show. The first time you no-show, you will be given a verbal warning. The second time you no-show, you will not be allowed to pre-signup for a raid with us. Don't sign up for something you don't intend to attend. I will begin keeping track of these starting October 16th, 2007.
Tardiness - Be at the instance, fully repaired, with all reagents and items necessary for your adequate performance, by the start time. Not thirty minutes after the start time. Not an hour after the start time. Not even the minute of the start time. Be there before the raid is scheduled to begin. We are utilizing the roster feature so you will know that you are raiding more than 24 hours before the raid begins. You will have plenty of time to get your behind to the instance. If you are more than 15 minutes late (even once), we will replace you with another willing and able bodied person who is ready to go at the instance. If you are habitually tardy and impair the raid's progress, we will give you a verbal warning. If you continue to be tardy, you will not be allowed to pre-signup with us. I will begin keeping track of these starting October 16th, 2007.
Behavior
Loot Drama - What is commonly known as "loot drama" will not be tolerated in a Relentless sponsored raid. This means you shall not do the following:
- Complain about how someone got an item when you didn't regardless of whether it was due to a roll or DKP. EVEN JOKINGLY.
- Demand that you are given an item because it is an upgrade for you (or you are the Almighty Powerful Wizard) regardless of whether the item is being assigned via a roll or DKP.
- Complain that it is unfair that Mr.AttendsAlot got his tier4 pieces, but you have two children and a life so you can't get your tier4. Mr. AttendsAlot has higher DKP because he raids the entire month. That's the way it works. If you put time in, you get rewarded.
Criticism - If you would like to constructively criticize or suggest something, there are appropriate forums to do so. If you have a problem, you can speak directly with your class leader, the Raid Leader, or your Guild Master. Guild or raid chat is not the appropriate place to bring up your grievances. If you have a suggestion, you may talk to your class leader, the Raid Leader, or your Guild Master, or you can post something on the forums.
Raid Composition/Balance & Sign-ups
The raid leader for any particular raid will be assigning people to the raid based on their class and how quickly they sign up online at the raid signup sheet. If 25 druids sign up first, we obviously are not going to be able to run a 25-man raid with just druids. (Well, we may be able to, but we aren't going to, even though that would rock) Therefore each spec has a certain number of slots available per raid, and each slot is based upon who signs up for that raid and how quickly.
